Pioneer presents the XDJ-1000 player with touch screen, the first in a new line-up of digitally focused, USB-only, rekordbox™-ready players. This new player will defenitley takes the CD out of the CDJ. “No More CDs!”.

XDJ-1000 Player is available in the exactly same dimensions and control layout as the CDJ-2000 Nexus units.

XDJ-1000 features a 7 inch touchscreen which allows control for setting loops, beat sync, cuing, slip mode, and a new function, Beat Jump / Loop Move (a basic function that Traktor has held alone in the digital DJ world. Another functions of the touchscreen: Browser, Wave and Wave Zoom, Keyword Search and more.

I think the most innovative and useful of all these functions is the NEW Quantized BEAT JUMP/ LOOP MOVE. The Beat Jump enables DJs to jump backwards or forwards 1,2 or 4 beats from the current playback position. After DJs have created a loop, they can navigate 1,2 or 4 beats backwards or forwards through the loop with the LOOP MOVE. Also you can can instantly trigger loops and cues they’ve prepared in rekordbox.
