Waves is announcing a new plugin called Submarine, dedicated to generating of subwoofers and bass enhancement in general. Submarine adds additional sub-bass frequencies to the signal with the possibility of lowering it to two octaves. At the same time, all original sound characteristics are preserved. Users can select the desired frequency range (20 – 240 Hz) for amplification and the degree of saturation.
The plugin can be used to process both whole tracks and individual instruments. The Drive control is responsible for the saturation of the added harmonics; the Dynamics handle allows you to compress the transitional frequencies between the original signal and the added one for better fusion. For parallel mixing of processed and “pure” sound, the Submarine provides Dry / Wet setting.
The program can operate in zero signal delay mode, is compatible with SoundGrid and has a set of prepared presets created by well-known producers of the Waves family.
Submarine plugin is available right now at Waves website at an introductory price of $ 29. Normally it will be $ 79. It works on Windows and Mac in VST, AU and AAX format. More information: Waves Submarine
