Sonnox has announced the VoxDoubler vocal doubling effect plug-in, which is available as part of the series called Toolbox.
VoxDoubler is capable to artificially generate the doubling of vocal tracks.
VoxDoubler consists of two separate plug-ins, called Widen and Thicken, designed to help with the two most common vocal doubling workflows.
Widen creates two new mono tracks from the original and distributes them in the leftmost and rightmost panorama.
Thicken creates another stereo track from the original and twice the track.
The plug-in should save time, effort and costs and provide natural-sounding results, Sonnox said. Here, a simple operating concept is in the foreground.
The new Toolbox series is designed to solve universally complex and time-consuming problems that affect beginners and audio professionals alike.
The manufacturer offers a free 15-day demo version that you can use to test the plug-in in advance.
The VoxDoubler plug-in is priced at $99 and you must know that it runs on Mac OSX 10.7 or higher and Windows 7 or higher as VST, VST3, AU, and AAX in 32 or 64 bit. You can also download and try an unlimited 15-day demo version from the official website – link below.
