When the Roland TR 808 was released, it marked one of the greatest twists of modern music.
The impact of the TR 808 has established many genres of electronic music, imposed new standards and launched new musical genres, many bands hugging this modern sound.
A few years later, the TR 909 emerged, which further increased the initial impact.
In 2014 the release of Roland Aira TR 8 Rhythm Performer not only has it brought back to attention that exceptional sound of the legendary machines mentioned above but also brings a new range of tones, textures, and possibilities to perform.
Now in 2018, the new Roland TR-8S Rhythm Performer combines every sound from the most popular TR drum machines like the 808, 606, 909, 707, 727, and even several modified versions in a device with a high-resolution audio engine, adds more features to the previous version and is made to be used in live performances
The combination of 808 and 909 instruments in new kits is now also possible. You can extend the high-quality library with your own samples.
The TR-8S has a scatter function that creates new pattern variations through real-time manipulation.
In addition, the newly developed Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology is used to reproduce the typical sound and rhythm characteristics of the legendary predecessor models.
The Roland TR-8S will be available later this month. We still do not know a price, but we guess it will be somewhere around $ 800.
