CLA Guitars plugin from Waves is my favorite virtual guitar, “It’s like a guitar toolbox with all the necessary combinations”.

Chris Lord Alge, also known as CLA, is a famous classic American rock guitarist (Grammy®-winning) with an impressive CV: U2, Avril Lavigne, My Chemical Romance, Nickelback, Green Day, Paramore, Rod Stewart and Celine Dion being just a few of his clients over the years.

The plugin features three modes—Clean, Crunch, and Heavy with DI and Re-amping modes for each. You get three color coded presets for the six most important effects, for the perfect blend of bass, treble, compression, reverb, delay, and chorusing/doubling.

The CLA Guitars plugin was build to process recorded guitar tracks inside a DAW. It is simple to use it and to figure out the controls of this plugin. Is perfect for any producer who need the real sound of Rock guitars packed in a very nice designed plugin.

The controls form UI will help you to adjust the bass, treble, pitch, reverb, delay, input, and output. All the basic processing functions are all available with this plug-in such as equalizer, compressor, reverb, delay, chorus.

The sound of CLA Guitars sounds very realistic but there aren’t to many controls for tweaking.
