ShimmerVerb

ShimmerVerb blends a luxuriously expansive reverb with parallel pitch shifters, creating ethereal layers that infuse any signal with a captivating “shimmer.” Traditionally, producers achieved this effect using Eventide pitch-shifting hardware like the H910, H949, or H3000, combined with a reverb. This technique gained fame through Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno’s work on U2’s The Unforgettable Fire. Now, this iconic sound has been reimagined and enhanced with a modern, streamlined interface, ideal for adding dreamy ambiance to guitars, keys, synths, samples, and vocals.

True to Eventide’s legacy, ShimmerVerb introduces new features such as infinite feedback capability, resulting in cascading reverbs that blend seamlessly into infinity. Fine-tune the feedback by specifying which frequencies are fed back using the low/mid/high cross-over network, allowing for precise control over the shimmering effect.
