PS-3300: Faithful Virtual Analog Synthesizer

PS-3300 is an exacting virtual analog emulation of the colossal semi-modular analog polyphonic synthesizer released by KORG in 1977. Cherry Audio has meticulously recreated and updated this legendary synth, capturing its massive stacked sonic character, signature multiple-resonator sweeps, and extensive patching capabilities.

Before KORG’s renowned MS monosynths, the Polyphonic Series introduced the PS-3300, a massive and rare synthesizer produced between 1977 and 1981. With its semi-modular design and rich, evolving timbres, the PS-3300 is often hailed as the holy grail of polyphonic analog synths.

The PS-3300’s unique architecture featured three independent “signal generator” panels, each functioning as a complete polyphonic synthesizer. Each panel included 12 independently tunable divide-down oscillator banks, along with discrete VCFs, envelope generators, and VCAs for every note. Dual LFOs and triple voltage-controllable resonators shaped its signature tone. A dedicated master panel offered extensive modulation possibilities through 67 front-panel input/output jacks.

Cherry Audio’s PS-3300 faithfully captures the power and revolutionary design of the original, making it a must-have for synth enthusiasts and musicians seeking classic analog warmth and versatility.
