H949 Harmonizer

In 1977, Eventide released the H949, a significant advancement following the success of the H910 Harmonizer, solidifying its position as a pioneer in audio processing technology. With the H949, Eventide introduced several innovative features that revolutionized the way musicians approached sound manipulation.

One of the standout additions was the formal micro pitch-shifting mode, which provided musicians, especially lead guitar virtuosos, with a unique sonic palette to explore. This mode became synonymous with the distinct sound of the H949 and contributed to its widespread adoption across various music genres.

Moreover, the H949 introduced groundbreaking functionalities such as Reverse delays and a Random pitch mode. These features opened up new creative avenues for artists, offering unprecedented control over their guitar and vocal performances. The Reverse delays added depth and texture to musical passages, while the Random pitch mode facilitated automatic double-tracking effects, enriching the overall sound with layers of depth and complexity.

Notably, the H949 addressed technical challenges like the ‘glitch’ phenomenon through advanced autocorrelation techniques, ensuring smooth operation and pristine audio quality even under demanding conditions. As part of the bundle, you also receive the H949 Dual, expanding your sonic toolkit with dual-unit parallel processing capabilities, further enhancing your ability to sculpt and shape sounds with precision and finesse.
