T-Bone gives you a new slant on tone shaping.
The Boz Digital Labs T-Bone is a slant EQ with some additional extras. With Slant Equalizers, the high or low frequency spectrum is raised as required, while the counterpart is lowered. In this way, dark-sounding or wide, open mixes can be achieved in no time at all.
What is special about this EQ is that the entire sound does not get louder if you want to emphasize frequencies.
The human brain generally thinks that louder signals sound better, even if this is not always the case. With a constant volume, the user of a T-Bone EQ can mix more selectively without being “tricked”.While the use of the Slant EQ can be very practical, other features such as high / low pass filter, which is equipped with a resonance control, have been integrated. Extreme effects that resemble the barking of a dog or the meowing of a cat are possible.
In addition, Harsh and Boom Control are available, which counteract the occasional side effects of a Slant Eq. Extreme settings of the slant can e.g. cause too much pressure in the bass range, which is why the Boom Control ensures a more homogeneous sound. In return, Harsh Control “defuses” the high frequency spectrum. For those who want to work even more precisely, the T-Bone offers a mid / site mode as well as the analog mode, which works with slight distortion and compression.
