Beat 10/21: Better Vocals with 5 GB library + 6 Mastering plugins
No musical element plays as much of an important role in the recognition value and success of a song as the vocals. In our latest issue we show how to create great-sounding vocal recordings and which tools are recommended for a professional and punchy sound. In addition, you’ll learn how to find original vocals even without a singer and how to put them in the limelight. And let’s not forget the 5 GB library with loads of vocals for instant use.
The Tubes & Tape Mixing Bundle hosts six effects processors for mixing and mastering, including virtual tube pre-amps, dynamics tools, and equalizers with their own unique sound. RetroMod FAT, on the other hand, brings the powerful and multi-faceted sound of modern Moog synthesizers to your DAW, including crisp basses and punchy leads, of course, as well as pads and much more.
In the current Corrosive sound bank for Zampler//RX and Akai’s MPC series biting basslines and synth sounds meet crisp retro drum loops. Let there be Acid!

In review: Behringer RD-9, Fantom 6 v2.5, Korg Collection 3 and many more…
It took almost three years for Behringer’s homage to the techno classic Roland TR-909 to make it from the announcement via various prototypes to series production. By comparison, the TR-808 replica called RD-8, announced only a little earlier, has already been available for two years and appears in parallel to the RD-9 already in the improved second edition. We tested one of the first delivered models to see if it was worth the wait.
You can’t get more Moog: Tracktion RetroMod Fat
The name Moog stands like no other for the unbridled power, dynamics and diversity of analog synthesizer sounds – not least of all thanks to the legendary Minimoog, as well as the Voyager, Sub 37 and Minitaur. Tracktion RetroMod FAT brings this punchy and multi-faceted sound to your DAW, including crisp basses and assertive leads in addition to pads and much more.
