It looks like Korg is preparing a new synthesizer to show us this year at NAMM 2019. Recently, the image of a new analog synth, called Korg Minilogue XD appeared on the Internet and it has attracted a lot of rumors and comments among the musicians.
Korg Minilogue XD seems to be a new polyphonic analog synthesizer with an integrated digital multi-engine, similar to the Prologue synthesizer!
This is able to produce FM, sync sounds and digital waveforms. In addition, developers can write new oscillator models and new effects for this engine, which you can share with other users.
It is certainly a clever move on the part of Korg to integrate this hybrid technology into other instruments, even in lower priced ones.
All we have to do is wait for the event to start and see this synthesizer “in skin and bones”. Certainly many surprises await us this year at the NAMM Show. We will publish the most interesting announcements and news here on the ProducerSpot site, so stay close to us.
Prices or official release date is not yet known for the Korg Minilogue XD, come back for updates.
