IK Multimedia has announced at NAMM 2018 the iRig Stomp I/O is a hardware controller that works with iOS, PC, and Mac.
It comes in a steel case with four switches on the top, an expression pedal and an audio interface (24-bit / 96kHz).
You can use iRig Stomp I / O to set and change the sound in real time.
For example, connect your electric guitar, synth or via the jack / XLR combo port to the iRig Stomp I / O and then connect it to the iPad, for example.
From then on you download the software IK Multimedia AmpliTube or VocaLive as an iOS app, which turns the iRig Stomp I / O into a gigantic guitar-effect battery.
You can also connect a condenser microphone, iRig Stomp I / O features a phantom power is on board.
This new hardware controller includes a rich software package from IK Multimedia worth € 800 with amp simulations, effects, and vocal processing software. These include the AmpliTube and AmpliTube Acoustic Sounds from IK Multimedia.
iRig Stomp I/O is expected to ship in March 2018 for the price of $/€299.99.
