MeldaProduction has released the MDoubleTracker plugin, which is a marvelous natural sounding artificial stereo expander in VST, VST3, AU and AAX interfaces on Windows & Mac, both 32-bit and 64-bit.
MDoubleTracker can, for example, make thin vocals immediately wider. The effect intensity is controlled by the dry/wet control. This technique is not new, but it is very time-consuming because there are several recordings of the same instrument or vocal track.
The MDoubleTracker plug-in does it all by itself. It double track and sets lightweight automatic, timing delays, and pitch variations. That’s enough and the result is more than wide. The technology was copied by the developers from the legendary Eventide H3000.
MDoubleTracker plugin effect comes with an advanced user interface, stylable, resizable and GPU accelerated – I just told you that it’s an “advanced” interface :).
What we can see at a first glance is the two big knobs for Dry/Wet and Focus, then the Space, Saturation, and Gain controllers. Below them, we have the Algorithm section, Multiparameter and Modulators. On the right side, we have the visualization engine with classic meters and time graphs.
As main features there are 16x upsampling, M/S, surround support as well as other channel modes, AGC, A-H presets for easy comparisons and an easy to use integrated help system.
