99Sounds has released Mangling Audio, a free collection of over 100 percussive one shots, bass drones and glitched out vocals, as well as a huge selection of almost 200 audio loops and raw sequences.
All this sounds was created by Poztman, the winner of the first Music Making Contest on 99Sounds.
Mangling Audio contains 547 MB of audio material in 16-bit and 24-bit WAV format. The library also includes a set of instrument patches for Native Instruments Kontakt 5, using a custom GUI script which was kindly provided by Tudor Nastase aka Evoke.
The first NKI patch features all of the one shot samples from the library mapped across the keyboard (seven full octaves of glitch SFX), whereas the three additional patches feature a pair of drum kits and processed vocal sounds. The included patches will work for 15 minutes only in the free Kontakt Player (you will need the full version of the software in order to use the provided patches without any limitation).
All samples are 100% royalty free to be used for non-commercial and commercial purposes in music creation and video production.
This sample pack ia available via 99Sounds website and is free for download.
