Air Music Technology has released a major update of its well-known virtual additive synthesizer plug-ins with the Loom II software synthesizer.
The structure of the synth remains identical to version Loom 1 (released in 2013) but now comes with eight voices, up to 34 individual modules plus many new features, and a more clearly designed interface.
Both beginners, as well as sound designers, will quickly find their way into the individual sections.
Vibrations and frequency spectra are even visualized, which makes working with sounds very easy.
Over 850 presets created by the professional sound designers Richard Devine and Mark Ovenden are included within the plugin.
The Loom II software synthesizer is suitable for every music genre!
From simple monophonic basses to complex vibrational journeys, shrill leads, energetic basses, synth percussions and almost extraterrestrial textures, everything is possible.
You can even morph with the new Morph Pad between different presets and breathe your sounds into song life.
A Spectral Noise section complements the sound generation with an additive spectrum.
In addition, there are four new 5-Sine modules, Discrete Adder, Hype and Double Wave, two optional subharmonic sub-timers that are below the normal range, new Wave parameters, and several other improvements.
The plug-in runs on Mac OSX and Windows (64-bit plugin: VST, AU, RTAS, and AAX formats) and it’s a great sound designer tool fueled with many attractive features.
