Klevgränd Releases Knorr – The Bass Vitalizer VST Plugin
The software company Klevgränd has released Knorr, a new plug-in and iOS app, with which you can get more out of your monophonic basslines. With Knorr tool, you can put your bassline in the foreground of the mix with its simple operation. For this purpose, the plug-in adds harmonics, which are calculated by a special algorithm which uses a combination of filtering, amplitude- and frequency modulation to process incoming audio, all these in real time. And that works well with any monophonic bass sound, according to the manufacturer. Very beautiful!
Operation is via a kind of X / Y pad. There you have to move a point until you like the final sound. That sounds like a quick fix! The whole thing can, of course, be automated to get a little movement in the bass. But there are more parameters. Because there are a total of three intensity levels available to you (soft, medium and hard). You can also regulate the output volume. That’s it already. But the result can be heard at least in the demonstration.
Klevgränd Knorr is available for the introductory price of 24.99 US dollars instead of 29.99 US dollars. The plug-in runs on Mac OSX 10.9 or higher and Windows 7 SP1 or higher as VST, AU, and AAX in 64 bit. There is also available a downloadable demo version and a PDF manual on the website. Knorr is fully funcitonal in Demo but with occasional audio disruptions.
The Knorr iOS version is also available with an introductory price of 6.99 euros instead of 12.99 euros. The app runs on iOS 9.3 or higher and is compatible with an iPad. It occupies 3.8 megabytes on your iDevice. You can integrate the app as an AuV3 plug-in into compatible DAW apps.
