HalfTime Multi-Effect Plug-in Released by Cableguys

Cableguys have released a new effect, HalfTime, a new multi-effect audio plugin 100% dedicated to creative half-speed/slow-down effects.

The main purpose of this plugin is to be used as a tempo reducer and pitch-down effect for sound experiments of all kinds.

The graphical user interface is very clear and self-explanatory with a modern look featuring a big centered power button, which can provide rapid tempo changes or fade-in and fade-out, allowing smooth transitions of up to 16 measures. The loop length extends from 1/16 to 8 bars.

It’s even possible to choose different playback speeds, including triplets with shuffle.

HalfTime plugin offers you 3 different speed modes, two of which simulate the “half-speed” effect and the third one is for triplets.

In addition, a split band is offered, with which the speed change can be adjusted only for bass, treble or mids. The Dry / Wet control adjusts the crossfade between the original tempo and the decelerated signal.
