Free: Sounds Of The Korg MS-20 Vol 1 by Audio Animals

Audio Animals released Sounds Of The Korg MS-20 Vol 1, a free for download sample pack that includes bass modulated sounds and fx samples created with Korg MS-20 analogue synthesizer. Other hardware used in recording process was a Focurite ISA One Pre Amp, and run through a Little Labs VOG, SSL 9K EQ and SSL 9K Compressor.

The Korg MS-20 is a patchable semi-modular monophonic synthesizer which Korg released in 1978. It is used by William Ørbit, Aphex Twin, Hardfloor, Air, SkyLab, Stereolab, Vince Clarke, Astral Projection, Biosphere, Apollo 440, Mr. Oizo, Jimi Tenor, The Prodigy, OMD, Freddy Fresh, Luke Vibert, Einstuerzende Neubauten, Add N to (X), Daft Punk, Coldcut, Die Krupps, Skinny Puppy, Electronic Dream Planet, Jimmy Edgar, Front 242, Front Line Assembly, The Legendary Pink Dots, KMFDM, Severed Heads, Royksopp, The Faint, The Shamen, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Portishead.

The Korg MS-20 Vol 1 is available at Audio Animals website and contains a total of 144 Wav 24 Bit samples with a total size of 97.6 MB.

Each sample has been meticulously processed on their custom SSL (Solid State Logic) and Maselec chain, featuring high quality SSL AD/DA converters and 24 channel summing mixer, 4k mono EQ and compressor, Super Analogue stereo EQ and compressor, as well as SSL VHD pre-amps.
