FL Studio 20 for Mac is here! Really!
Image-Line celebrates 20th anniversary with the release of FL Studio 20 which now includes 64-bit native MAC OS support after years of beta testing.
Since the beginning of the year, there has been a rumor that this year we will have FL Studio 20. Scott Fisher, product manager and marketing director of Imagine Line, has announced on the software forums, there will be no FL Studio 13, as much to comfort the superstitious as to celebrate the 20 years of the brand.
FL Studio 20 is a complete audio software for music production. Representing more than 20 years of innovative development it has everything you need in one DAW to compose, arrange, record, edit, mix and master professional quality music.
FL Studio is one of the world’s best DAWs and is used by the most creative artists.
FL Studio 20 arrives on PC like on Mac (in 64 bits with AU plug-ins support), accompanied by a string of novelties.
- Rhythmic signatures that can change with time markers
- Consolidate Clips function for bouncing patterns and selected audio into a single audio clip
- Improved delay compensation for plug-ins
- New toolbar design with an editable layout
- Return of functions that had disappeared: Graph Editor to edit the velocity, the pitch, the pan directly in the Channel Rack, and Sampler Channels, marking the return of the precalculated effects.
In addition, FL Studio supports multi-touch monitors. There is also a mobile version called FL Studio mobile, which allows you to create and save music projects directly on your smartphone and tablet.
Knowing that many improvements have been made on the entire software and Image Line plug-ins. Note that the updates are free as usual with the editor and that the software is available in 4 versions containing more or fewer possibilities or plug-ins: Fruity at 89 euros, Producer at 189 euros, Signature at 289 Euro and All Plugins Bundle at … 826 euros.
The installation process is pretty simple. If you have not yet used this music production software, you just need to download the installer and follow the simple installation steps.
To update your FL Studio to FL Studio 20 you must download the installer from here (FL Studio 20 Windows, FL Studio 20 MAC) and from the installer select ‘Settings > Migrate previous’. This will install the new FL Studio 20 to the default location.
Do not forget to copy all the files you have in the FL Studio 12 folder somewhere else before starting the update.
Everything should go smoothly.
