Audio Damage releases ENSO, a new multi-effect audio plug-in which in essence is a loop sampler designed primarily for live use, but also for the studio for a fast and intuitive sampling of all sorts of sounds.
The concept is not very new but unfortunately has disappeared a bit from the scene in recent years. With a modern fully resizable graphical user interface, and some interesting features that make the sampling mutate to the right playground.
The recording works very easily with a click or via external controllers (for example, floor pedal). As the main features, it includes Full Automatic Looping Engine, Sector Crossfading, MIDI CC Implementation, Audio File Loader, and more others.
You can even record up to 10 minutes of audio via the actual recording (dub mode). Each loop is divided into sections that you can freely control via the controller.
The plug-in can also import different sound formats (WAV, FLAC, MP3, and Ogg) and then run through the editing chain. You can save the loop as WAV and use it in your DAW. It’s best to have a look at the introductory video.
Audio Damage Enso is available at PluginBoutique for a price of 59 US dollars. The plug-in runs on Mac OSX 10.9 or higher and Windows 8.1 or higher as VST, VST3, AAX, and AU in 32 or 64 bit.
Audio Damage Enso is a great tool for manipulating the music loops you already have. Check out our “Store” section if you are looking for even more awesome audio loops and samples, we have plenty to choose from.
