99Sounds has released Digital Malfunctions, a free sample pack loaded with almost 350 digitally processed loops created and produced by Timur Arynov from MyOSS, also the creator of the Dark Engine sample pack released back in 2014.
“Digital Malfunctions” free pack includes a great set of filed recorded rhythmic loops and sound effects that capture the city ambiance.
Here’s what Timur says about his free sample pack:[box type=”shadow” align=”” class=”” width=””]“I always liked abstract loops and interesting glitchy textures, and it was an exciting challenge to create sounds that I would easily use in my experimental electronica productions. And by the way, I’m a big fan of Richard Devine and Ivo Ivanov. 🙂
The main source of all small sounds is heavily processed field recordings of city ambiance, but it would be boring just to chop and rearrange them, so I decided to make it almost fully randomized. Sampler played random notes with random length. Then it was processed with long fx-chain, in which the parameters were randomized as well. The only steady thing was tempo syncing.”[/box]
The sample pack contains a total of 350 loops, available in 44.1 kHz/24-bit WAV format. All the audio files are all normalized to -12dB (“because dynamic range is your friend”).
